Dear Parents:

June is upon us and that means the end of the school year.  It is always an amazing transformation when you compare where our children started in September and where they are now.  They are able to read and write many more words than when they started.  Our children are beginning to become great communicators and that is what will make them successful.  Their growth in one year will never be greater and this deserves to be celebrated.  That is why June is Pine Hill’s month to celebrate. 

During the month of June we will be celebrating with our Candyland Days.  The Pine Hill version of Field Days.  We will also be having our First Grade Moving Up Day and Kindergarten Graduations.  You can find these dates in the newsletter and the district calendar.  Finally, all classes will be going on their end of the year field trips as they experience learning outside the walls of Pine Hill. 

So as the school year comes to an end so does my letter.  Please remember to help our kids be safe, dress them in their sneakers and appropriate clothes.  As the weather gets warmer please review our district dress code.  This can prevent an embarrassing phone call home and an unnecessary trip to school to bring an appropriate outfit. 

Enjoy our month of celebrations and please have a safe, relaxing summer.
